A decade of youth-led transformation in Liberia
The Youth Network for Positive Change (YOUNETPO) is a registered, fully accredited, youth-led national civil society organization. Founded in 2014, we have dedicated over a decade to equipping the next generation of Liberian changemakers with the practical skills, structural leadership capabilities, and community platforms required to drive meaningful civic participation, protect public health assets, and build a lasting culture of sustainable peace.

Four pillars driving measurable community impact
Our programs span public health accountability, education infrastructure, civic governance, and climate resilience across Liberia.
Projects backed by leading global institutions
A sample of the work our youth-led teams deliver on the ground — each one funded, structured, and validated by major international partners.
Nurture, Empower, and Protect (NEP) Project
A healthcare accountability and tracking framework implemented via a sub-grant from the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) through UNFPA Liberia, with primary funding from the Government of Ireland. Our youth-led monitors drive field oversight across public healthcare hubs, expanding access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services and preventing essential medicine stock-outs.
Inclusive Justice & War Crimes Court Synergy
Backed by the Women Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) through Conciliation Resources, YOUNETPO signed a collaborative Memorandum of Understanding with the Office of the War and Economic Crimes Court of Liberia (OWECC-L) to ensure marginalized youth and local community voices directly guide transitional justice architectures.
School WASH & Modern Infrastructure Transformation
Carried out alongside the Pan African Think Tank and formally endorsed by Liberia's Ministry of Education, this initiative constructs safe, dignified, and hygienic sanitary structures within public schools, while running regional Spelling Bee contests to drive academic excellence.
National Environmental Policy Alignment with EPA Liberia
Working directly with the Environmental Protection Agency of Liberia (EPA), our team helped draft, review, and validate the official National Capacity Self-Assessment (NCSA) report — shaping the rules that govern nationwide climate adaptation and ecological management.
“Young people are not just the future of Liberia—we are the drivers of its present transformation.”
